The Wapato High School Class of 2019 has produced four top academic students. Each of them are maintaining a 4.0 Grade Point Average and each is being celebrated as a 2019 Valedictorian.
This quartet of high achieving students, pictured left to right above, include Linda Barragan. She is a member of the National Honor Society. Serves as an ASB officer. She has participated in Band for four years and in Cheer for two. She plans to attend the University of Washington and major in Pre-Health & Science.
Maddie Osorio is also a member of the National Honor Society. During her time in high school she has participated in cheer, golf, track, wrestling and swim. Maddie is also a member of the Miss Wapato court. She plans to attend Whitworth University and major in Psychology.
Lorenzo Alvarado Jr. is a member of National Honor Society and has been a varsity member of the basketball, cross country and track teams all four years of high school. He has also served as the student representative on the School Board of Directors the past two years. He plans to attend the University of Washington and major in Pre-Health & Science.
Carlos Trejo-Perez who is the Senior Class President, a member of National Honor Society and who was crowned Mr. Teen Wapato 2019. He is also a member of the high school’s robotics team and NASA HUNCH team. Carlos plans to attend the University of Washington and major in Aerospace Engineering. Congratulations to all four of these high achieving students.
