Congratulations to Wapato High School student athlete Chehalis Alec for being named the WIAA 2A State Player of the Week.  Chehalis is a member of the Girls Varsity Basketball Team.  She is being recognized for having two great games last week that helped the Lady Wolves to wins over East Valley and Selah.  In the East Valley game Chehalis scored 20 points, had 10 rebounds and made 8 of 10 free throws including one with 4-seconds left in overtime to help seal the win.  In the Selah game the Wapato High School Senior had 16 points and 8 rebounds.   GREAT JOB Chehalis and congratulations on your State recognition.
